Nominate a deserving member for an SIR Section Award
It’s award nomination season at SIR! The Women in IR Section, Early Career Section and the Resident, Fellows and Student Section (RFS) all have section awards to honor a worthy recipient onsite at the SIR 2027 Annual Scientific Meeting during their section programming. Learn more about each award below and submit a nomination before the Oct. 31 deadline.
- Women in IR Champion Award: The Women in IR Champion Award is presented annually to recognize an individual who has consistently made a significant contribution to the advancement of women in IR, such as in sponsorship, mentorship, teaching, promotion, advocacy and recruitment.
- Early Career RISE Award: The Early Career Section’s Recognizing Inspirational Service & Engagement (RISE) Award honors individuals who demonstrate leadership through sustained mentorship, community-building and advocacy for early career IRs.
- RFS Clinical Advancement Award: The RFS Clinical Advancement Award seeks to acknowledge one outstanding resident annually who has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to expanding their clinical advancement during the early postgraduate years.
