Raise IO awareness this October
October is Liver Cancer and Breast Cancer awareness month and hosts IO Awareness Week Oct. 26–30. To put a spotlight on the vital role IRs play in treating these cancers, we'll be sharing ways that IOs make a difference in patients' lives all month long on our social media channels.
We also have tools for you to advance your IO practice.
Our patient information brochure will help you give your patients detailed information and position yourself as an ally in their quest for less risk, less pain and less recovery time than traditional surgery.
And our Quality Improvement Team has developed the “Follow-up After Locoregional Liver Treatments in Patients with Cancer Toolkit” to help your ensure patients receive timely follow-up appointments and have the appropriate information, such as labs and imaging, available for these important visits.
