Dr. Robert A. Lookstein, MD, FSIR stands as a leader in the field of interventional radiology, seamlessly blending clinical expertise, academic leadership, and a commitment to advancing patient care. Dr. Lookstein is a Professor of Radiology and Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine and Executive Vice Chairman of the Department of Diagnostic, Molecular, and Interventional Radiology for the Mount Sinai Health System.

Dr. Lookstein’s leadership extends to the global stage, where he serves as the 2025–2026 President of the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR).
