The IR Residency Practicum—now designed for every stage of training

SIR’s IR Residency Practicum is evolving.

Previously focused on graduating residents, this expanded program now supports all IR trainees—with tailored content based on where you are in your journey.

Two dedicated learning tracks:

  1. Senior residents (PGY 5–7): Prepare for independent practice, board certification and career decisions

  2. Junior residents (PGY 2–4): Build clinical confidence, strengthen fundamentals and accelerate your growth

Over two and a half days, you’ll gain practical insights you can apply immediately, from clinical decision-making to career navigation, delivered by leaders in IR.

SIR Meeting Code of Conduct

Review SIR's official guidelines and requirements for behavior at an SIR meeting. All meeting participants must observe all standards at all times. Violations of this code are taken seriously and may result in action including, but not limited to, the ability to participate in any of SIR's live meetings.

The Practicum gave me many tools to start the next chapter of my career. Aside from the academic value, the hands-on experience and the interactions with truly talented and altruistic faculty were valuable reasons to attend.
