About

The Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (JVIR) is pleased to support the ongoing success of the Resident Editorial Fellowship program. This prestigious fellowship offers an immersive experience in the editorial process of a leading IR journal to a highly selected group of trainees. Participants shadow editorial leadership, engage in strategic discussions and decision-making, and receive valuable instruction on scholarly writing, reviewing, editing, and publishing.

Developed and chaired by JVIR Senior Deputy Editor Ron C. Gaba, MD, MS, FSIR, the fellowship enhances participants’ critical appraisal skills and strengthens their ability to design studies and to turn data into manuscripts. Dr. Gaba emphasizes, “By incorporating academic and editorial education beyond typical clinical training, the fellowship broadens and refines academic competencies, accelerating career success.”
