Anne Marie Cahill, MD, FSIR, and Eric J. Monroe, MD, FSIR, led the SIR Foundation Research Consensus Panel (RCP) on “Cryoablation of Malignancies and Aggressive Benign Diseases in Children.” This meeting took place on Aug.7 and 8. Panelists included pediatric surgeons, oncologists and interventional radiologists, who prioritized recurrent lung metastasectomy and cryoablation as a main topic for further investigation.

Drs. Cahill and Monroe are now working on a proceedings paper with the panelists to submit to the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology. For more information, please visit the SIR Foundation website.
