David Mankoff, MD, and Terence Gade, MD, PhD, have been awarded the National Institutes of Health (NIH) T32 training grant. SIR Foundation provided support for this grant in 2019. The proposed program at the University of Pennsylvania will help continue the radiology residency track for trainees interested in radiology, with a dedicated spot for interventional radiology.
This historic achievement marks the first NIH-funded residency track dedicated to training clinician-scientists in interventional radiology. Congratulations to Drs. Mankoff and Gade on this accomplishment!
