TARE the Hazards: Bringing High-Risk Patients to the Transplant Finish Line
It is a difficult truth that many patients diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) must simultaneously confront the perils of underlying chronic liver disease, a threat to survival that often surpasses malignancy itself. Furthermore, the cirrhotic liver’s inherent predisposition to HCC makes preservation of hepatic substrate as paramount as cancer care.

Transarterial Embolization for Refractory Adhesive Capsulitis and Related Tendinopathies: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
This study aimed to synthesize evidence on transarterial embolization (TAE) for adhesive capsulitis and related shoulder tendinopathies to quantify pooled changes in pain, range of motion (ROM), American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES) scores, and safety outcomes

Neutrophil-to-Lymphocyte Ratio and Platelet-to-Lymphocyte Ratio Combined with Model for End-Stage Liver Disease 3.0 as a Prognostic Predictor for Patients with Liver Cirrhosis after Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt Creation
To evaluate the prognostic value of combining neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) with Model for End-stage Liver Disease (MELD)–based scores in predicting mortality after transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) creation in patients with cirrhosis.

Standardized Technique for Prostatic Artery Embolization: A Delphi Consensus Study on Optimized Methods and Emerging Concepts
Prostatic artery embolization (PAE) is a safe and effective treatment for management of lower urinary tract symptoms in men with benign prostatic hyperplasia. Despite its clinical effectiveness, PAE remains technically demanding, necessitating standardized procedural steps to optimize outcomes.

Glue (n-Butyl Cyanoacrylate) for Prostate Artery Embolization: Development of a Glue Penetration Score and Association with Clinical Outcomes
To develop a simple imaging-based scoring system, the prostate artery embolization (PAE)–glue penetration score (GPS; 0–6), for use in PAE with n-butyl cyanoacrylate (nBCA) and to examine how it relates to patient outcomes. In a single-institution retrospective cohort of 49 men (July 2021 to May 2023), 2 blinded readers graded glue penetration per hemigland (0–3) and summed scores to a total PAE-GPS (0–6).
