The MedStar Georgetown University Hospital Interventional Radiology Residency Program has an open Independent IR residency position available starting in July, 2027. Train at two premier tertiary-care centers in the heart of Washington, DC: MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, home to a nationally recognized transplant and oncology program, and MedStar Washington Hospital Center, a high-volume Level I trauma and complex vascular referral center.

Residents gain broad exposure to advanced interventional oncology, hepatobiliary intervention, venous disease, PAD, embolization, trauma, and complex inpatient care. Our program offers outstanding procedural volume, dedicated faculty mentorship, robust clinical training, and a collegial culture focused on developing future leaders in Interventional Radiology.
