The cycle for the 2026–2027 SIR and SIR Foundation leadership nominations process has begun. Engaged and committed volunteers are essential to the achievement of SIR’s strategic goals and mission. 

The following positions are open for nominations:

To apply for a position, please complete the online applications and conflict of interest disclosure. Nominations must be submitted by Friday, Oct. 24, 2025 through SIR Connect.

All nominees must be active members in good standing. Members of the SIR and SIR Foundation Nominating Committee are not eligible to be nominated for any position. Nominations are considered confidential.

The SIR and SIR Foundation Nominating Committees will meet in autumn 2025 to develop the slate of candidates. The committee carefully evaluates the nominations based on current and future leadership needs. SIR and SIR Foundation’s needs change from year to year, and there are many qualified candidates who apply. For this reason, individuals may apply or be nominated several times before selection as a candidate.
