SIR has retained an external advisor, TriLumen Health, to help us define the future of IR and create a clear roadmap for success. The project is a response to disruptions in the healthcare landscape brought on by funding, technological and regulatory changes.

TriLumen will focus on four core objectives:

• Defining IR’s future role in medicine
• Identifying barriers to IR’s autonomy and leadership
• Strengthening IR’s visibility, access and economic viability
• Building a roadmap for advocacy, workforce development, and organizational positioning

A report is expected this summer with actionable insights that will allow SIR to articulate the value of IR through better data, messaging and communication.
