SIR, as one of the more than 500 members of the Association of American Medical Colleges’ Ad Hoc Group for Medical Research, wrote to Congress urging a 9% increase over fiscal year 2025 funding for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), in addition to support for the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H).
