SIR’s RUC Advisor Minhaj S. Khaja, MD, MBA, FSIR; RUC Alternate Advisor Robert J. Kennedy, MD, FSIR; and staff attended the American Medical Association/Relative Value Scale Update Committee this month. SIR presented three code sets that included, prostate biopsy services, treatment of incompetent veins and fine needle aspiration to the practice expense subcommittee and RUC panel.
