SIR celebrated 50 years of supporting the IR community and set a new postpandemic record for attendance at the SIR Annual Scientific Meeting in Nashville! More than 4,800 people gathered March 29–April 2 to expand their knowledge, exchange ideas and strengthen connections across the IR community.

From the thought-provoking Dotter Lecture to the inspiring story of Sebastian Junger (an IR patient and the author of The Perfect Storm and In My Time of Dying), to the life-changing treatments discussed in scientific sessions, SIR 2025 put on display the limitless potential of image-guided therapies to solve the toughest medical problems.

There were also moments of levity, as members explored history at the SIR 50 and Forward Experience, solved cases to free themselves from the IR Escape Room, and paddled their way to the top of the SIR EDGE Pickleball Tournament.
