Read SIR’s updated guidance on percutaneous arteriovenous fistulae for dialysis access

The SIR Renal and Genitourinary Clinical Specialty Council, in collaboration with the Guidelines and Statements Division, has released updated consensus recommendations for creating and maturing percutaneous arteriovenous fistulae (pAVFs) for hemodialysis. The guidance covers patient preparation, procedural technique, complication management, and follow-up care.
