Congratulations, Julie C. Bulman, MD, and Alexandra Fairchild, MD, FSIR, on their appointments to the American Medical Association (AMA) Current Procedural Terminology® (CPT®) Advisory Committee by the AMA Board of Trustees. Dr. Bulman will serve as SIR’s primary CPT® adviser, with Dr. Fairchild serving as alternate CPT® adviser.
The CPT® Advisory Committee provides specialty expertise to the CPT® Editorial Panel on procedure coding and nomenclature. In these roles, Dr. Bulman and Dr. Fairchild will represent interventional radiology and help shape the CPT® code development process. We look forward to their leadership and service to the specialty.
