On June 5, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services released the 2027 International Classification of Diseases (ICD)-10-Clinical Modification (CM) diagnosis code files. The update contains 190 new, 30 deleted, and 4 revised ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes. These 2027 ICD-10-CM codes will be used for patient encounters from Oct. 1, 2026, through Sept. 30, 2027.
