CMS releases 2026 ICD-10 update
CMS released the 2026 International Classification of Diseases (ICD)-10—Clinical Modification (CM) diagnosis code files. The update contains 487 new, 28 deleted, and 38 revised ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes. These 2026 ICD-10-CM codes will be used for patient encounters from Oct. 1, 2025, through Sept. 30, 2026.
