Practice development
The Carrier Advocacy Workgroup is currently reviewing and updating several coverage letters to reflect the latest clinical evidence and payer policy developments. Current efforts include updates to prostate artery embolization (PAE), endovascular arteriovenous fistula (endoAVF), and percutaneous bone cryoablation, as well as development of a new coverage letter on adrenal venous sampling (AVS) for the evaluation of aldosterone overproduction.
These resources are designed to help members address coverage challenges, support payer discussions, and respond to denials using evidence-based recommendations. Updated and newly released letters will be available through the IR Business Center as they are finalized.
