2026 Annual Coding Update
This online educational program provides a comprehensive overview of coding and billing changes for Calendar Year (CY) 2026, tailored specifically for interventional radiology (IR) practices. With the introduction of new CPT codes effective January 1, 2026, this session is designed to educate members and administrators on their appropriate use and ensure accurate coding for IR procedures.
Business of IR 2026 Virtual
In today’s rapidly evolving healthcare environment, interventional radiologists (IR) must do more than master procedures — they must also master the business of their practice. SIR Business of IR is the only conference designed to equip IRs with the knowledge, tools, and strategies to lead in private and academic practice settings.
Business of IR 2026 Virtual
Due to the winter storm impacting travel across the United States, we’re introducing a limited-time virtual option for this meeting. This is not something we typically offer! Consider this a bonus opportunity made possible by Mother Nature.
Practice Development Tips for Success: Men’s Health
This comprehensive asynchronous course is designed to equip interventional radiologists with the clinical, technical, and strategic competencies needed to establish and grow a men’s health practice focused on two key procedures: Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE) and Varicocele Embolization. Developed to address critical gaps in training and practice, this program offers a deep dive into procedural techniques, patient selection, referral building, and reimbursement strategies—areas often underrepresented in traditional IR education.
2026 JVIR CME Program
This JVIR Course will be updated monthly with the latest issue of the JVIR.
Microlearning Biliary/ Percutaneous Cholangioscopy: Advance Your Practice
This activity equips learners with the skills to distinguish between benign and malignant biliary strictures and introduces multiple techniques for performing cholangioscopy-assisted stricturotomy. Participants will also learn to apply best practices for preventing and managing adverse events that may occur during or after cholangioscopy.
SEAS Virtual Angio Club
The SIR Virtual Angio Club provides interventional radiologists (IRs) with a platform to showcase innovative approaches in treating diverse diseases and discussing complex cases that require unconventional management strategies.
IR Coding Academy
The IR Coding Academy consists of a series of recorded webinars designed to teach you the best practices for coding IR procedures. These presentations feature expert volunteer physicians from the SIR Economics Committee, who offer their insights and knowledge on all aspects of IR coding.
