Society of Interventional Radiology inducts 34 Fellows
Physicians recognized for achievements in research, teaching, published works and leadership at SIR 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting
TORONTO (April 14, 2026) —The Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) inducted 34 new Fellows during its Annual Scientific Meeting, April 11–15, in Toronto. This honor, achieved by only 15 percent of eligible SIR members, is bestowed to those who have demonstrated excellence in interventional radiology by virtue of research and published works, teaching, and leadership within the field, along with contributions and involvement within the society.
“This year’s Fellows exemplify the very best of our specialty through their commitment to innovation, clinical excellence, research and education,” said SIR 2026–27 President Saher S. Sabri. “We are proud to recognize their lasting contributions to interventional radiology and to patient care worldwide.”
