This meeting will serve as a forum for interventional radiology program directors and leaders to discuss shared challenges, exchange solutions, and explore areas of mutual interest. The program will include educational presentations and interactive discussions focused on resident recruitment, training, and strategic development.

Emory Conference Center Hotel

Room rate: $229 plus taxes (standard room) per night
Deadline to reserve a room: Sept. 3, 2026
Check-in/ check-out
The hotel check-in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 12 p.m. The hotel bellman can arrange to check baggage for those arriving early when rooms are unavailable and for guests attending functions on the departure day.
Hotel cancellation
If you are unable to attend the meeting, please contact the hotel directly to cancel your hotel reservations. Cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to the arrival date to receive a refund. Canceling your sleeping room DOES NOT cancel your meeting registration. And vice versa.
Early departure fee
If a guest who has requested a room within the Room Block checks out prior to the guest's reserved checkout date, the Hotel will add an early checkout fee to that guest's individual account.

Self-parking: $15 USD per night per vehicle or $4.00 per hour.
Transportation
MARTA serves Emory Conference Center Hotel. From Hartsfield International Airport take MARTA to the Lindbergh Station. From Lindbergh take the #6 bus directly to the hotel. Visit MARTA. Emory Cliff Busses serve the University Monday through Friday from 5:30 AM until 7 PM. This transportation is complimentary.
Estimated taxi fare from Hartsfield International Airport is $41-50 USD (one way).

How do I register for the meeting?
- You must have an SIR account to register. To manage your account, visit My Account.
- To view registration information and rates, select the Registration tab on this menu.
- IR residency program staff (Program Directors and Coordinators) will receive the APDIR discounted rate based on their program’s APDIR status. If you need to update your APDIR membership or personnel affiliated with the APDIR membership, contact gme@sirweb.org.
- If your Program Director or Assistant Program Director are not able to attend, they may send someone in their place. They will be granted your program’s registration rate. Contact gme@sirweb.org.
What is included in attendees' registration?
The APDIR Education Meeting begins Sunday, Sept. 27 and concludes on Monday, Sept. 28. The registration includes all educational activities, breakfast, lunch, break and the Sunday reception.
Can I transfer/cancel my registration?
Cancellation Policy
- Registration: Cancellations received in writing by Sept. 10, 2026, will be refunded less a $100 administrative fee. No refunds will be given after Sept. 10. Refunds or credits will not be given for failure to attend, late arrival, unattended events or early departure. All refund requests must be submitted in writing to meetings@sirweb.org.
Canceling your meeting registration doesn't cancel your room reservation. Please contact the hotel directly to cancel your room. - Hotel: Canceling either your hotel or registration doesn't automatically cancel the other one. All reservations must be guaranteed by a credit card. If you cancel within the hotel's cancellation policy or no show, the hotel will either retain the deposit or charge your credit card one night's room and tax.
In addition, checking out of your hotel prior to your scheduled departure date could result in an Early Departure Fee. Please contact meetings@sirweb.org to cancel your meeting registration per the policy above.
