Attend SIR's annual meeting and learn about interventional radiology
Medical Student Scholars Program information
The SIR Medical Student Scholars Program provides medical students in the U.S. and Canada with the opportunity to learn about IR at an early stage in their medical careers. Selected scholars receive a travel stipend to attend the SIR Annual Scientific Meeting -- an experience that includes dedicated educational programming, presentations from leaders in the field of interventional radiology, and networking opportunities with IRs from across the world.
Scholarship recipients receive a $1,000 travel stipend which is disbursed after the meeting has taken place.
The Medical Student Scholars Program is funded through generous unrestricted educational grants from our corporate partners as part of the Corporate Ambassador Program. If you wish to support these scholarships, please contact Jonas Nash, SIR director of corporate relations.
Applications for the Medical Student Scholars Program are being accepted until December 5, 2021.
