All integrated and independent interventional radiology training programs are required to participate in the Match services offered by the National Resident Matching Program Match (NRMP). Programs agree to abide by the NRMP Communications policies for each respective Match program.
IR integrated residency
The interventional radiology-integrated residency match is administered by the NRMP as part of the Main Residency Match. Visit the NRMP Main Residency Match Calendar for more information.
IR Independent Residency
Both ERAS and the NRMP classify the independent IR residency as a fellowship for match purposes. The independent IR residency match is part of the NRMP Specialties Match Program (SMS®).
