Governance/Policy for endorsement of international meetings
Governance
SIR’s governance structure and process is designed to be responsive to SIR member wants, needs, and trends; serves members and the professions efficiently and effectively; meets current and future governance challenges; and is satisfying to those members who are involved in SIR governance activities.
Policy for endorsement
An endorsement by the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) means that SIR has reviewed the content of the course and has, through a physician review process against a set of annually updated criteria, deemed that it is aligned with SIR's mission, vision and core values. SIR is not responsible in assisting with the creation or development of the course and no CME credit will be awarded through the Society. Read more.
International Membership
We invite you to join the growing global community of members who are building the specialty of IR around the world. SIR offers a variety of membership categories for every member of the IR team throughout their careers, regardless of where you live and practice in the world.
Volunteer to serve
SIR and SIR Foundation encourage members to apply to join an education or clinically-focused committee, or one of the many other committees that fit your area of expertise or interest. These committees offer you opportunities to influence the practice and study of medicine, network with colleagues in your field of expertise, and participate in leadership activities of the Society and SIR Foundation.
You can find the perfect volunteer opportunity for you quickly and easily using the new volunteer manager on SIR Connect.
