Ziv Haskal JVIR Editor's Fellowship (virtual)
JVIR plans virtual fall 2021 Ziv J Haskal Editorial Fellowship
JVIR Editor-in-chief Daniel Y. Sze, MD, PhD, FSIR, is pleased to announce that Special Projects Editor Ziv J Haskal, MD, FSIR, will offer his editorial fellowship again in 2021. The sessions will be conducted in late fall, most likely as a virtual opportunity, with the dates to be announced soon.
The fellowship is intended for attending IRs with an interest in academic publishing, writing and reviewing, as demonstrated by their authored research, journal reviews or other demonstrated efforts. This intensive program will quickly boost the attendees' abilities in drafting and designing their own studies and manuscripts, improving their abilities as critical readers and reviewers, and defining potential pathways to larger ongoing editorial opportunities within JVIR and academic publishing. The fellows can expect to review, discuss and edit at least 25–30 manuscripts, assign new reviewers, render editorial decisions, review cases of publishing misconduct and so forth.
To apply, please email the following materials to SIR Director of Publications Brian Haefs (bhaefs@sirweb.org) no later than Friday, Aug. 20, 2021.
