All integrated and independent interventional radiology training programs are required to participate in the Match services offered by the National Resident Matching Program Match (NRMP). Programs agree to abide by the NRMP Communications policies for each respective Match program.
IR-integrated residency programs participate in the NRMP Main Residency Match®. IR-independent residency programs participate in the NRMP Specialties Match Program (SMS®) All programs are also encouraged to use the Electronic Residency Application Services (ERAS).
IR integrated residency

IR Independent Residency
Both ERAS and the NRMP classify the independent IR residency as a fellowship for match purposes. The independent IR residency match is part of the NRMP Specialties Match Program (SMS®).
