Percolate new scientific thinking in Seattle!

Registration open for Society of Interventional Radiology Annual Scientific Meeting, March 28–April 2, 2020

FAIRFAX, VA (Oct. 21, 2019)—Online registration is open for the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) 2020 Annual Scientific Meeting. The meeting takes place March 28–April 2, 2020, at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle.

SIR’s Annual Scientific Meeting will percolate new science supporting breakthrough, minimally invasive image-guided treatments for today’s toughest medical problems to improve patient care through more than 400 competitively selected oral and 350 poster presentations of peer-reviewed scientific abstracts. 

Join more than 5,000 interventional radiology physicians, trainees and related health care professionals as they discover what is brewing across 16 clinical pathways through case-based workshops, hands-on workshops, didactic lectures and face-to-face discussions with key opinion leaders in the field. 

Highlights at SIR 2020 include: 

  • Science supporting interventional treatments for cancer, vascular disease, women’s and men’s health conditions, stroke, pain, musculoskeletal, and lymphatic disease
  • Hands-on and case-based workshops providing interaction with thought leaders and rising stars
  • Dedicated learning tracks for the whole team—including trainees, early career interventional radiologists and allied health professionals
  • The 2020 Dr. Charles T. Dotter Lecture, delivered by Karim Valji, MD, FSIR.

Representatives of the media are invited to join interventional radiology professionals as they share research, learn about the latest breakthroughs and trends in interventional radiology, and discuss important issues in the field that have been making news.
