What is the Fellows Spring Practicum?
This annual 2 ½ day course held every Spring in Chicago prepares IR fellows for private practice or academia with training that may not have been covered extensively during the fellowship year. Focus is given to peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and interventional oncology (IO).
It is also an excellent opportunity for fellows to network with each other, interventional radiologists from both academic & private practice settings, and several device representatives.
This meeting hosts over 100 attendees plus an additional 24 faculty members. The course is designed for current vascular and interventional radiology fellows. It is also open to a limited number of general SIR members, including 4th-year residents and early career IRs.

Corporate participation

What's your company's role?
The Fellows Spring Practicum is an excellent opportunity for your company to welcome 100+ fellows to their practice as attending interventional radiologists.
Being an exhibitor at this meeting is the essential way to showcase your brand, products, trainings and services. Other aspects include:
Recognition on materials sent to all members of the SIR community (over 7,000)
Prominent recognition during the Practicum via signage, tables, and thank yous from the podium
Participation in the hands-on workshops for focused interaction with attendees

How can your company get more deeply involved?
Providing an educational grant, for the Practicum or other SIR course, allows your business to strengthen IR education and vitality.
Your company's support of the meeting will be recognized repeatedly through signage, in verbal thanks by lecturers and across many other avenues.
Companies with wider interest in interventional radiology as a professional and innovative field may want to investigate a position in the Corporate Ambassador Program (CAP). CAP is a unified platform for corporate grantmaking and comes with a range of opportunities for recognition, invitations to certain meetings, priority distribution of reports, and specific advantages in exhibiting and advertising opportunities.
If you would like to learn more about corporate support for SIR's educational programs or engaging with CAP, please contact Erica Holland, assistant executive director, (703) 460-5568.

Exhibitor opportunities
Exhibits are strategically placed in the common area of the meeting and are open daily. Dedicated time for attendees to visit the exhibits is provided so that industry partners have the chance to interact with course participants repeatedly. Details forthcoming.

Please contact Susie Evenden, (703) 460-5586 with questions.

Hands-on workshops
These interactive demonstrations are often where attendees best absorb and compare detailed information about the tools available for practice as physicians.

Requirements
Company participation in the workshops has no cost. However, your company must be participating as an exhibitor at this meeting to present your brand or any of your products or services to meeting attendees.
SIR provides tables, unmarked tablecloths, electricity, and any food items requested as tissue samples. The workshop sessions should be free of any branded marketing materials whatsoever. You may distribute clinical trials data or peer-reviewed journal articles; you may also generate leads.

Format
Companies are offered stations in a room for attendees to rotate through at their own pace. Representatives from industry lead. You are generally encouraged to bring simulators, models, or non-sterile sample product - the main idea is to make your display interactive and experiential, rather than a lecture or didactic format.
You may request any physician to help proctor your hands-on station, although we recommend you choose a physician already attending the meeting. You are responsible for making these arrangements.

Workshop schedule
Details forthcoming.

Please contact Christian Lopez, (703) 460-5575, with questions regarding participation in the hands-on workshops.
