About the Meeting
Advanced Therapies in Venous Interventions (ACTIVE) is a 1-day, “deep-dive” course into all aspects of venous disease delivered by multidisciplinary expert faculty. ACTIVE covers the full gamut of the treatment and management of venous disease, including the latest techniques for superficial and deep venous/lymphatic disease, female pelvic venous disease, pulmonary embolism (PE), and complex IVC filter retrieval. The course is delivered through a powerful combination of online case-based panel discussions, SA-CME-accredited lectures, and case presentations of techniques and devices.

2021 ACTIVE Trainee Scholarship (Complimentary Registration)
The 2021 ACTIVE Trainee Scholarship provides interventional radiology residents and fellows-in-training with an opportunity to learn about venous thromboembolism at an early stage in their medical careers. Selected scholars receive complimentary registration to attend ACTIVE, November 12, 2021. Applications are no longer being accepted for the 2021 ACTIVE trainee scholarship, however all trainees are still encouraged to attend. See the ACTIVE program for the dedicated trainee program track which will be presented during the ACTIVE meeting from 9am – 12pm ET and will cover superficial venous disease, deep venous disease and pelvic venous disease.

Accreditation and CME
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials and Standards of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). The Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) is accredited by the ACCME to provide medical education for physicians.
The Society of Interventional Radiology designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
This program will be approved for 4.5 self-assessment CME credits (SA-CME) by the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR). SIR is awarded Deemed Status by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The live SA-CME sessions offered at this live meeting, meet the ABR’s criteria for a self-assessment toward the purpose of fulfilling requirements in the ABR Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program.
SIR EducationCancellation policy
Due to high demand and the limited number of possible attendees for this course, SIR must adhere to a strict registration cancellation policy. Cancellations received in writing by October 12, 2021, will be refunded less a $100 administrative fee. No refunds will be given after October 12, 2021. Refunds or credits will not be given for failure to attend, late arrival, unattended events or early departure. Hotel reservations, cancellations and/or changes must be made directly with the hotel.
