The Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) promotes the high-quality practice of interventional radiology through a wide range of educational activities. Among the society’s areas of educational focus, venous interventions is a top priority. Among learners, interventional radiology trainees represent the specialty’s bright future of exceptionally talented practitioners.

To this end, SIR is pleased to announce the launch of an intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) case competition, seeking the most compelling, complex, and/or competition-worthy deep-venous cases, performed by SIR members worldwide.
