How to Sign Up for Twitter

If you're new to Twitter, just follow these easy steps.

1. Sign up for a Twitter account. It's free and takes less than a minute to set up. You will be given the option of having the tweets (or updates) delivered directly to your mobile phone. If you don't opt for this, you will get the latest postings by simply logging into your Twitter account from your computer.

2. Visit SIRspecialists and/or SIRmembers and click "Follow."

3. You can then check your Twitter home page for the latest news from SIR! The posts that you will receive will be short: Twitter requires them to be less than 140 characters. SIR's 2010 Annual Scientific Meeting will be using this hasthtag: #2010SIR.
