Course Description

This course will provide the attendee with an excellent opportunity to network with practicing interventional radiologists from both academic and private practice settings and device representatives from numerous industry partners.

Target Audience

This course is designed for current fellows and recently graduated fellows pursuing a career in interventional radiology. This course is also open to a limited number of SIR members.

Objectives

  • Discuss the broad spectrum of modern IR practice from the medical management of PAD patients to appropriate evaluation and treatment of interventional oncology patients
  • Explain how to set up and maintain an IR clinic and manage competition
  • Discuss latest data with regards to endovascular management of femoral-popliteal, limb salvage, EVAR and carotid stenting

Fellows Course in Venous Diseases 2010

The Fellows Course in Venous Diseases 2010 is now under the direction of Steve Elias, M.D., FACS, FACPh, and the American Venous Forum. They are pleased to announce their partnership, which creates a unified academic source for fellows' education in venous disease. High-quality interactive programming and low faculty attendee ratio will remain the same.

The schedule has been expanded to three regional courses to better accommodate all fellows.

  • May 2-4, 2010: Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, Englewood, N.J.
  • Sept. 12-14, 2010: University Washington, Seattle, Wash.
  • Dec. 2-4, 2010: Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio
